The Trellis Clip

"The Trellis Clip" has been designed in conjunction with fruit growers and leading distributors within the industry.  After 12 months of testing, ITW Fastex has developed a product that provides a quick and easy method of securing secondary growth to trellis wires.

Design Features

The flat strap that makes up the body of the part has been designed to ensure minimal damage to the surface of the plants.  The robust clips have been optimised to provide maximum hold against wind blowing in all directions.  After speaking with a number of growers, the most common complaint they have with alternate methods of clipping the growth, is the lack of strength when wind is blowing along the length of the wire.  Although easy to clip on, our new clip design has been optimised and proven to require significantly more effort to un-clip than other clips on the market.

Fitted in three simple steps, "The Trellis Clip" has been designed to suit a number of different fruit varieties grown on 2.5 to 2.65 mm trellis wire.
